Eyes Opening 1982 – Reloaded 2026

The exhibition project is based on the work of Brigitte Aloise Roth (1951–2018), who shared a deep and joyful connection with ONA B.: conversations, art, endless laughter, experiments, successful out comes, mutual friends—St. Pölten, Vienna, New York. Time spent together. Photographic series from Roth’s estate (jointly man aged by Susanne Kompast and basis wien) are on display, focusing on her friend ONA B. Brigitte loved seeing ONA B. as a model, and ONA B. loved getting Brigitte to take photographs — a game they both understood perfectly. In memory of Roth, ONA B. now invites artists to engage with these historical sessions in an analogous way.
