She worked in advertising since the first decade of 2000, both in Italy and in the German speaking countries.
Since 2013 she has dedicated herself to visual art and photography: analogue, digital and old alternative processes such as albumen print.
In the team of Rotlicht Festival she is collaborating in the Graphic Design and the Social Media Management.
STELLA MONDIN / SOCIAL MEDIA & BACKOFFICE
Stella Mondin is a queer female photographer currently living in Vienna. She just finished her diploma at Die Graphische.
How does our society perceive nudity and how do we deal with it? Till which point do hegemonic body ideals influence us, how can we guard ourselves against idealized pictures of the human body? Stella Mondin follows these questions with witticism, illuminating every wrinkle, every hair and every scar with devotion and consciously putting things in the focal point of attention which otherwise are the first sacrificed victims of retouching in glossy magazines.
