Four analog dimensions bound by one element: water as Finland’s existential lifeline and fluid backbone. Serving as a projection for a larger body of work, this NextGenAFK group exhibition spans Peter Eriksson’s poetic documentation of traditional shoreline carpet bridges, Albin Ljungqvist’s stark B&W studies of coastal urbanization, and Serafima Parland’s inquiry into virtual intimacy. Accompanying the show is an album of cyanotypes of Finnish shores created by young Ukrainian refugees from landlocked regions. Together, they weave nature, human imprints, and non-time into a poignant reflection on environ ment, tide, and transition.
A Cross-Generational dialogue from AFK: Peter Eriksson (Paris) captures maritime heritage, while Albin Ljungqvist (Helsinki) documents coastal friction on High-Contrast B&W Film and Serafima Parland (Helsinki/Vienna) explores AI Power and submerged intimacy.
