Phrases like »Your dream home in the countryside, surrounded by nature, with first-class architecture« were used as input for the AI Midjourney to see how artificial intelligence visualizes these idealized descriptions. Through documentary photography and AI, the artist shows how advertising deliberately plays on people’s dreams of homeownership. Many invest decades in their homes, yet the reality often differs from the idealized images — a contrast that the project ruthlessly exposes.

Klaus Titzer has been working as a photographer since 1986. In his conceptual works, he questions social developments. During his master’s degree in Digital Photography and New Visual Media, he devoted himself to architecture in the so-called affluent suburbs. With clear imagery and humor, he takes an unflinching look at reality.
