Album printing was developed in 1850 by Louis Désiré Blanquart-Evrard (1802-1872). He used paper, albumen, silver nitrate and light to create photographic images.

The workshop is suitable for beginners. After a brief introduction to the history of album prints and how they are created, you will be shown how to safely mix emulsions and coat da paper, then expose your negative to ultraviolet light to produce a fascinating one-of-a-kind print. You will be guided in design composition and shown how to create a visually appealing work of art step by step.
