Materiality, process, manipulation, investigation: these terms were the starting point for the Analog Photography Workshop project, which was conceived and developed as part of a course with students from various departments at the University of Applied Arts. The fundamentals of analog photography form the starting point for nine individual approaches that explore the materiality and physicality of analog photography as a specific characteristic of the medium from an artistic perspective. In the experiment, the specified processes are broken down into their individual parts and expanded to include sustainable alternatives. The body interacts and intervenes in the process. Black and white and color mix on the surface of the photo graphic paper, shifting into the sculptural and returning to the wall. Image subjects disappear, while the process itself remains visible.

The group of artists consists of students from various classes at the University of Applied Arts. They applied for the course and the resulting exhibition with their own concepts and were accepted.
