“Rock” is the study of a single geological feature on one of Europe’s fastest eroding coastlines. Destined to eventually disappear it is depicted through a series of unique silver gelatin prints. Each print is processed using seaweed collected nearby, combined with a variety of darkroom techniques which leave an image closer to these natural ingredients than a mechanical output. Printed on decades old discontinued Agfa paper, this element of unpredictability is heightened further.
